Race Entry Form
Please note, all race entries have to be emailed to the club so we can enter you into your race via Waka Ama NZ.
Entry deadlines, registration fees and event coordinator details are on the Waka Ama NZ website. https://www.wakaama.co.nz/racecalendar. It is your team’s responsibility to get the required information to our gmail account, whaingaroawaka@gmail.com, or complete the form on our website 2 weeks before the waka ama NZ entry deadline. This ensures the secretary has time to complete your registration on the waka ama NZ website. We can enter your team on the Waka Ama NZ website before you pay the entry fee but fee payment is your responsibility.
Registration fees for most events are to be paid directly by the team (a designated paddler) to the event coordinator. The exceptions are Sprint Regionals, Sprint Nationals, and Long Distance Nationals who require a single payment from each club because there are often multiple teams from each. In these cases, the designated paddler makes a single team payment to whaingaroa waka (Whaingaroa Whanau Hoe Waka 03 1563 0045952 00. Please reference your name and race name and distance). The club then pays Waka ama NZ. It is your team’s responsibility to make sure fees are paid on time.
